The group uses public transport to access the walks so meet at one of the bus stops on the way.
The walks are mostly 5.5 to 7.5 miles long and exclusively using public transport to and from the walking locations. The walks will usually be on the last Friday of each month. Participants should bring a drink and a snack or light lunch. Sorry, no dogs.
The planned walk on Friday 26th June is from Haggerston to Spittal: 7.3 miles via Windmill Hill.
Bus 10.12 from Berwick Rail Station, or 10.18 Golden Square, route X18 to Haggerston. Return from Spittal by local bus B1.
