The group uses public transport to access the walks so meet at one of the bus stops on the way.
The walks are mostly 5.5 to 7.5 miles long and exclusively using public transport to and from the walking locations. The walks will usually be on the last Friday of each month. Participants should bring a drink and a snack or light lunch. Sorry, no dogs.
The walk on Friday 28th August is 5.7 miles from Lowick to Fenwick via Hunting Hall. Bus 11.05 from Berwick Railway Street route 464 to Lowick, returning from Fenwick Bridge at either 14.47 or 15.47.
Following that, the 25th September walk will be 6.8 miles from Lamberton Bridge to Eyemouth on the coast path. Bus route 60 at 09.15 from Tweedmouth Retail Park, or 09.20 Golden Square to Lamberton Bridge, with a planned return from Eyemouth at 14.32. As always, details will be confirmed by email a few days before each walk to those on the contact list for this group.
